From hand-stitched pleats inspired by Georgian traditions to our signature shoulder line that mirrors the natural elegance of a tree, suspended diagonally within the forest canopy, every detail is thoughtfully crafted to tell a story. Our Story
Soteri’s journey begins in the vibrant city of Tbilisi, where the rich cultural heritage of Georgia meets the creative energy of modern design. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of our homeland, we draw from the colors, textures, and structures of nature to create clothing that bridges the past and the future.
Our team is led by master tailor Ludmila, Sophia’s mother, who brings decades of expertise in Italian, French and English tailoring. She draws inspiration from the distinct styles of Milanese, Neapolitan, and Roman tailoring schools, blending them with the sophistication of haute couture. This rich foundation is the heart of Soteri’s commitment to excellence. For Ludmila, tailoring is more than a skill—it’s a passion rooted in love and precision. Paired with the creativity of our designers and artisans, her expertise ensures every Soteri garment is crafted with unmatched quality and care.
The designing of prototypes and the entire production process take place under one roof at the Soteri Fashion House, ensuring seamless quality and attention to detail from start to finish.

In 2022, Soteri began in a modest atelier, guided by a quiet devotion to true craftsmanship and a profound reverence for the patterns and structures found in nature—a source of inspiration first embraced during the brand’s inaugural brainstorming session amid the deep, mountainous forests of Georgia’s Shovi National Park. For the founders, the very name Soteri embodied their aspiration to create a platform that unleashes human potential—awakening creativity, compassion, and connectivity through every endeavor. They shared a belief that garments should carry meaning—every thread intentional, every stitch a study in precision. Rooted in tradition yet open to reinvention, they set out to blend age-old techniques with modern sensibility. Evolution and Growth: From Attic Atelier to Fashion Design House

As creative ambitions grew, so too did the need for a devoted team. The International Stage: Tranoï Tokyo 2024
In 2024, Soteri stepped onto the international stage with a distinguished debut at Tranoï Tokyo, aligned with Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO. There, we presented a collection that marries heritage and modernity, drawing deeply from Georgia’s rugged mountain regions and centuries-old customs. At its heart is the koklos—lush pleated ruffles from traditional Georgian dress—reimagined as hand-crafted, elegant flourishes for today’s wardrobe. This collection not only evokes the textures and patterns of nature but also embodies our commitment to the environment, utilizing mono fabrics that are designed to be fully recyclable and repairable, thus supporting a circular economy. The showcase affirmed our devotion to meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful innovation, resonating with discerning industry voices.
